American Girl & Giordano's
We took the whole family to Chicago to see Joe's parents when I went to the Craft and Hobby Trade Show. The kids loved seeing their grandparents! As you can see, Matthew couldn't stay off of Grandma's lap!
The highlight for McKenna was American Girl. She was so cute deliberating over how to spend her money wisely. Matthew skipped AG and went to the Lego Store.
After finding parking in a parking lot and being surprised at reading the fine print $23 not $13 as we thought we all went to Giordano's for some Chgo deep dish! mmm mmm yummy.
Matthew loved the gooey cheese!
4th of July
Here are a few photos from our 4th of July. The first is at our friends' house on the other side of the lake, they have a beautiful view of the lake and the fireworks are always spectacular!
I'm still working out the details on how Typepad differs from Blogger so now that I've uploaded all these photos I can't type in between! Anyway, I can't believe how McKenna has grown up! She got all dressed up for the 5th when we had some friends over for a barbeque. The kids had a blast with some fireworks. The twins are almost five and had a great time, too! McKenna and Matthew were very good with them even though one of them sprayed them with the hose and McKenna had to out her pretty dress.
