Friday Night

I spent Friday night at the store crop with Laurie, Cindy and Joy who was in from Seattle. Had a great time, didn't get much done (had too much fun catshing up :) but managed to finish up a couple of layouts I had been working on this week.  

 

 

   

I also made a few ornaments for the tree I keep in my sitting room. I used the Maya Rd. Snowflake Chipboard pieces, Pink Paislee Pixie Stix, buttons, & MSC Snowflake Stickers.

 

 

 

I also worked on a Tussy Mussy for the store using Pink Paislee's Sweetcake line. I took a picture of another one I have in my room that I used the older Amy Butler line and some vintage finds from my friend, Dana.

 

 

Enjoy the rest of your weekend, we have a busy day tomorrow. Church, Sunday School, the Riverside Dinner Theatre (a couple of Matthew's school friends are performing in Peter Pan) and then back to church to see the Syracuse Choral who are performing at the White House Monday night.

Finally got it all settled for my trip to the next trade show. Have my hotel reservation and plane tickets, yay! Bummed that Cindy and Laurie won't be there this year but really looking forward to catching up with Nicole.  Can't wait to see what my favorite manufacturers have in store for us this Spring! We are finally a Making Memories VIP store and we get to attend the VIP party...hmmm I better call and see if Nic wants to come! 

Christmas Joy

 

Here is a fun little album I created to display some wallet size photos from last year's Christmas.  I used Pink Paislee's Tinsel Town's beautiful pink and green papers, rub-ons, Pixie Stix glitter, stamps and ribbon. I also used the ball ribbon from Cosmo Cricket, paper tags from Making Memories, Bling from Heidi Swapp, Hambly Studios Acrylic, Maya Rd. Chipboard.  The Tree on the back page is stamped using a glue pad and then I applied Green Apple Pixie Stix Glitter.

         

So many of you have been wondering...

where I've been. Well I've been right here. Just working on the store blog. Now that I have that up and running and getting a little more help from a couple of the other teachers and I can start following through on my promise to work on my blog! Life has been just a tad busy. Here is a quick update:  Matthew started middle school, he is doing really well. He made it into the advanced classes and loves the challenge still has hardly any homework though. McKenna is in her last year of elementary school. She is growing like a weed! Loves to tease Matthew that she is taller than him although I keep warning her that things will change in High School. Tonight she is in a Christmas Chorus production at school. Hope to post those pics this week. Lost all the Halloween pics trying to load a picture on the store computer for a class kit (don't want to get me started on that!). 

Joe got hit by another car in October so our Christmas decorations are taking longer to get put up. Usually we have them done by the weekend after Thanksgiving. He has been laid up since just got approved for physical therapy today. Here is a before picture of our foyer:
